Before and After

I love a bargain whether at a flea market, garage sale, or thrift store. Here is a revitalisation project by Arren Williams at Cityline.
With a bit of creativity and elbow grease an old side table and brass tray can be turned into a stunning occasional table.
Remove the table’s chipboard top and clean and sand the base to remove rust and loose paint, and then prime both the tray and table base with a metal primer. Once they are dry, attach the tray to the base using construction adhesive. Allow to dry completely then paint a couple of coats in semi-gloss, like a bright colour to highlight the shape and style of the piece.
Accessorise to personalise!
